Direct is a ball striking app that uses AI-powered computer vision to analyze and track your ball speed. Nothing is a more correlated with your overall game than ball striking! Upload videos of your practice sessions and get instant feedback on ball velocity, trajectory, and strike accuracy. Direct is currently available as an android app, but soon will expand to iOS and beyond.

🎥 Best Results - Recording Tips
For optimal ball detection and analysis, please follow these guidelines:
- Record from a right angle to the ball's direction of travel
- Use a simple background (grass is great, patterned surfaces not so much)
- Keep one ball in the frame at a time
- Use a stable camera position (tripod recommended)
- Ensure the target is clearly visible in the frame
- Good lighting conditions help significantly
- For body mechanics analysis, keep the frame clean — only the striker should be visible, with no other people walking through or standing in the shot
- Make sure the striker's full body stays in frame from setup through follow-through so pose tracking has a clean, unobstructed view
🔒 Privacy & Security
Your videos are private by default. You have the option to make specific clips public to participate in leaderboards and share your progress with the community.

🗑️ Data Control & Account Deletion
You have full control over your data in Direct. All deletions are complete and permanent — this is the primary method to remove your data from our servers.
Delete Videos
To delete individual videos from your library:
Press and hold the video thumbnail on the Library screen → Confirm deletion.
Delete Account
To permanently delete your account and all associated data:
Open the options menu (three dots) → Select "Delete Account" → Confirm deletion.
This will permanently remove:
- All uploaded videos and analysis data
- Your account profile and display name
- Credit balance and purchase history
- Group memberships
