• Payment transactions are processed by Stripe

• We do NOT store credit card numbers or payment details

• Process payments through Stripe
• Communicate with you about your account and services

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Where We Store Data

• Videos and analysis data: MongoDB database on Google Cloud Platform
• Authentication: Firebase Authentication
• Payment data: Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant)

3.2 Security Measures

• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
• Videos are private by default
• Access controls and authentication required for all operations
• Regular security updates and monitoring

4. Privacy Controls

4.1 Video Privacy

• Private by default: All uploaded videos are private and only visible to you
• Public sharing: You can choose to make specific sessions public to appear on leaderboards
• Control: You can change privacy settings at any time from your library

4.2 Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. To request account deletion, email us at support@directstrikes.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request."

Upon deletion, we will:

• Delete all your uploaded videos
• Remove all analysis data and session information
• Delete your user profile and account information
• Process the deletion within 30 days

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share data only in these circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

• Firebase: Authentication services
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Google Cloud Platform: Hosting and storage

5.2 Public Information

• Sessions you mark as "public" will appear on leaderboards with your display name and velocity data
• Other users can view public session videos

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

6. Children's Privacy

Direct is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

7. International Users

Your information may be transferred to and stored on servers located in the United States. By using Direct, you consent to this transfer.

8. AI and Machine Learning

8.1 Model Training

We use uploaded videos to improve our ball detection AI models. Specifically:

• Frame extraction: We extract individual frames from your uploaded videos for training purposes
• Ball detection training: These frames are used to train and improve our AI's ability to detect and track soccer balls
• Automated processing: This happens automatically when you upload videos
• Privacy maintained: Training data is anonymized and videos remain private unless you choose to make them public
• Benefit to all users: This helps improve accuracy and performance for everyone using Direct

8.2 Data Retention for Training

Extracted frames may be retained for model training purposes even after you delete a session. However, these frames are:

• Stored separately from your account information
• Anonymized and not linked to your identity
• Used solely for improving ball detection algorithms

If you do not want your videos used for training, please contact us at support@directstrikes.com before uploading.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, if appropriate, through the app or email.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
