Welcome to Direct! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Direct mobile application and services. By using Direct, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Direct, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Direct is a soccer training application that uses AI-powered computer vision to analyze ball striking mechanics. The service includes:

• Video upload and processing
• Ball detection and velocity tracking
• Session storage and playback
• Leaderboards for public sessions
• Credit-based payment system

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Direct
• One account per person

3.2 Account Security

• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Credits and Payments

4.1 Credit System

• Video processing requires credits (charged per MB at $0.05/MB)
• New users receive a $10 signup bonus
• Credits are non-refundable once purchased
• Credits do not expire

4.2 Payments

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• All prices are in USD
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for credit purchases
• We reserve the right to change pricing with notice

4.3 Refunds

• Credits are generally non-refundable
• Refunds may be issued at our discretion for service failures
• Contact support@directstrikes.com for refund requests

5. Video Content and Usage

5.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of videos you upload
• You grant us a license to process, store, and analyze your videos
• Videos are private by default
• You can delete your videos at any time

5.2 Public Sessions

• You may choose to make sessions public for leaderboards
• Public sessions can be viewed by other users
• You can change privacy settings at any time

5.3 Prohibited Content

You may not upload videos that:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Contain inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Violate others' privacy

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the service
• Abuse the credit system or attempt fraud
• Upload excessive or irrelevant content
• Harass or harm other users
• Use automated systems to access the service
• Resell or redistribute the service

7. AI and Data Processing

7.1 Beta Status

• Ball detection AI is in active development
• Accuracy may vary and will improve over time
• Processing speeds may be slower during beta

7.2 Model Training

By uploading videos to Direct, you agree that:

• We may extract frames from your videos for AI training purposes
• These frames will be used to improve our ball detection algorithms
• Training data is anonymized and separated from your account
• This helps improve accuracy for all users
• Videos remain private unless you choose to make them public
• Extracted frames may be retained for training even after you delete a session

If you do not consent to your videos being used for training, please contact support@directstrikes.com before uploading.

8. Service Availability

8.1 Beta Limitations

• Service may be interrupted or unavailable at times
• Features may change without notice during beta
• We do not guarantee uptime or processing speed

8.2 Modifications

• We may modify or discontinue features at any time
• We will provide notice of significant changes when possible

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Rights

• Direct, its logo, and features are our intellectual property
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software

9.2 Your Rights

• You retain ownership of your uploaded videos
• Analysis data generated from your videos belongs to you

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

10.1 Service "As Is"

Direct is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of ball detection or velocity measurements
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Specific results from using the service

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data or content
• Service interruptions or errors
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid in the last 12 months

11. Termination

11.1 By You

• You may delete your account at any time
• Contact support@directstrikes.com for account deletion
• Unused credits are forfeited upon account deletion

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the service

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts.

14. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute, please contact us first at support@directstrikes.com. We'll work to resolve issues informally before pursuing formal legal action.
